A Whale of a day.

Yesterday Maria and I had to go to Ensenada for the morning to take care of administration stuff. It was a great drive down in beautiful clear Santa Ana conditions. Gleaming oceans and clear sky.

We got our stuff done before lunch and decided to get lunch at the Calafia which is a historical site for an original Spanish mission and also the old dividing point between Baja California and California Alta – that was before the USA ‘bought’ the California of today.

We ate our really good and really cheap breakfast in front of a huge pane glass window that occupies the whole wall facing the ocean. It was a beautiful view.

Half way through our meal we looked out the window and saw this:

California Grey Whale’s heading south.

They surfaced several times spouting every time.

Christmas Greeting - Sheahan's

Now it’s mid-December and it feels like the ‘Line Month’.

Lines are super long and often times annoying right now.

Lines for shopping.

Lines for mailing.

Line for Starbucks. L

Trolley lines.

Lines for getting your car fixed.

Lift lines.

Border lines.

Restaurant lines.

Movie lines.

Age lines (we hate those lines most of all)

Traffic lines.

And of course

Lines for Santa…

But

Where’s the line for Jesus?

Well, we are the line for Jesus and the mystery and Good News is, there is never any waiting – we are always first in line.

So as we finish December and go into a new year, we want to wish the best for you.

And remember as you wait in all those other lines…you are always first in HIS line.

In His Line,

The Sheahan’s
